Pineapple Contracts has released four new products targeted at ‘challenging environments’.
The ‘sumptuous’ Snug chair uses a modular approach to create multiple options for room layout. Corner units enable the creation of social spaces, while L-shaped layouts are designed to prevent ‘dead space’ in corners and to create ‘zones’ for activities. The soft curved contours, with deep foam and generous proportions, allow for heavier users, while the lumbar support and cushioning ‘give luxurious comfort’. A lower overall height allows for clear line of sight across a room, while the lack of arms makes the chair an option for de-escalation. Anti-tamper fixings and anti-stash seams, plus optional piping and weighting, help create ‘a safe, strong, and durable product’.
‘A neat take on a classic tub chair’, Skye has a strong timber frame with reinforcement and anti-stash base as standard, a compact footprint, and slender appearance. The tapered base makes for an easier standing motion, while the sloped arms are ergonomically designed for comfort. The chair is available weighted for extra safety.
The Boden bean bag chair extends the company’s existing ‘popular bean bag range’, and is designed ‘to create a fun, relaxed option perfect for children and adults alike’. The seated shape provides support and an upright position. The lightweight bean bag can be easily transported between rooms, while fully stitched construction with no zips makes it ‘safe for use in challenging environments’. Soft flowing edges help to create ‘a de-stressing space’.
The Lotus table is ‘a lean and strong addition to the current Pineapple Contracts range of tables’. The company said: “Its resilient, high pressure laminate top is scratch and mark-resistant, easy to clean, and will stay looking smart longer term. Contemporary solid steel legs provide strength and stability to a table ‘ideal for coffee lounges, reception areas, and staff rooms’.
