New dementia e-Suite range heads Wallgate line-up in Coventry

At this year’s Design in Mental Health (DiMH) conference and exhibition, taking place from 24-25 August 2021 at the Coventry Building Society Arena, Wallgate will showcase its new dementia e-Suite range.

It describes the range as "the latest development in a e-Suite features a range of ‘dementia-friendly’ taps, WC flushing, shower activation and temperature control devices that was developed in collaboration with healthcare specialists HammondCare, and the University of Stirling’s Dementia Services Development Centre, receiving their highest grades of accreditation".

Wallgate says the e-Suite products ‘aid independence and helps normalise living by using intelligent water controls within a traditional aesthetic’.  In addition, a data logging feature gives care-providers insight into patient behaviour to directly assist the management of their care.

Robert Kimber, Wallgate’s Sales director, said: “The DiMH exhibition in Coventry will provide us with a unique platform to help showcase how we can help solve the challenges that healthcare facilities face. It has always been a very engaging event for us. The product team will again be on hand to talk visitors through what’s new, and how we can work together to deliver some incredible solutions.”

In addition to the e-Suite launch, Wallgate will also be displaying ‘other innovative products designed for healthcare washrooms’, such as anti-ligature WCs and washbasins. and another new range, including specialist grab rails, shelves, and toilet roll holders, plus updates to existing products.
