West Yorkshire-based Knightsbridge Furniture has announced a new collaboration with Cranium Medical Products of Boksburg, South Africa, which creates ‘100% recyclable furniture optimised for the healing of patients’.

The South African  manufacturer curates a wide range of products ‘using state-of-the-art techniques and methods for all sectors in the healthcare industry, ensuring that each piece is durable and built to last’. Together with Knightsbridge Furniture, experts in manufacturing furniture for over 80 years, it says it has created ‘a range of healthcare-focused products influenced by current interior design trends, while creating a safe, relaxing, and mood-boosting environment for patients and residents’.

Knightsbridge Furniture said: “Rotationally moulded, hygienic ,and easy to clean, the Elan chair is not only practical, but takes inspiration from modern designs to eliminate the overly clinical feel often seen in these facilities.

We push boundaries and implement interior design trends into these spaces. With Cranium Medical Products, we can continue to create brand new products that will lead the way in the healthcare industry.”

Allen Cliffe (shown right), the owner of Cranium Medical Products, added: “This collaboration signifies a blend of our shared values in innovation, safety, and aesthetics, all aimed at creating environments that foster healing and tranquillity.
