The Ryno Wall Bed from Pineapple Contracts has a one-piece design, is ‘totally water-resistant’, damage-resistant, and ‘anti-concealment’, and with ergonomics in mind, one side is angled outwards – making it easier for users to stand up from the bed.
The furniture specialist says this feature also improves access for caregivers, allowing them to stand closer to the bed when delivering care, and reducing the likelihood of back injuries. The straight side allows the bed to be fitted flush against the wall, minimising concealment opportunities.
The Ryno Wall Bed has been designed ‘specifically to minimise ligature risks’, is compatible with coved flooring, has a ‘100% waterproof construction’ with hygienic wipe-clean surface, and incorporates 40 per cent recycled content. Strength and stability tested for severe contract use, it comes with a lifetime guarantee against manufacturing faults
Pineapple Contracts explained: “Like all Ryno products, the Wall Bed is rotationally moulded to form a single piece with no joints or seams which would otherwise be a point of weakness.” It is available with or without storage compartments, and available in 14 versatile colours.
