The Howard de Walden Estate (HdWE) says Re:Cognition Health (RCH) has signed a new 20-year lease for 62-64 New Cavendish Street in London’s Harley Street Health District for a new ‘brain and mind clinic’.
Re:Cognition Health (RCH) says its ‘pioneering’ UK and US brain and mind clinics specialise in diagnosis, treatment, and care of people with neurodevelopmental, traumatic, and neurodegenerative conditions, and mental illness and mental health concerns. RCH’s team of experts has operated out of three sites across Marylebone for the past 12 years, with the latest development bringing all its services in London under one roof across 7,765 ft2m of space.
The new RCH centre at New Cavendish Street has undergone wht HdWE says is ‘an impressive transformation’, following ‘an extensive investment’, with ‘state-of-the-art eco-lighting’ designed to enhance patient wellbeing and comfort, and ‘to establish a productive and pleasant environment fit for today’s increasingly discerning clientele and RCH’s future healthcare expectations and demands’.
Kye services offered will include:
- Clinical trial services – ‘driving advancements in treatments for Alzheimer’s, migraines, multiple sclerosis (MS), ADHD, and autism.
- Private practice services: specialised care in ADHD, autism, Alzheimer’s treatments (including Leqembi), neurology, neuropsychology, brain injury, and mental health.
- Medico-legal services: expert assessments and reports for legal and insurance purposes.
The facility boasts purpose-built zones to enhance comfort, including ‘child-friendly’ areas, and ‘a serene low-sensory suite for patients undergoing transformative treatments’. HdWE said: “Spacious, treatment rooms equipped with cutting-edge technology ensure the highest standard of care.”
Mark Kildea, CEO at The Howard de Walden Estate, said: “We are delighted to accommodate Re:Cognition Health’s expansion in Harley Street Health District. Re:Cognition Health already operates a highly regarded medical facility on our estate, and it was important we help them with the next stage of their growth. The Howard de Walden team has enjoyed working with the RCH team in the delivery of its new healthcare facility, which will provide an unparalleled offering to its patients.”
Dr Emer MacSweeney of Re:Cognition Health added: “Having operated out of the Harley Street Health District for more than a decade already, it was only right that we found a new, long-term home in this highly respected esteemed and well-connected destination. Working closely with the Howard de Walden team, we have completed an extensive, really exciting refurbishment, where our patients will be able to navigate their treatments through purpose-built zones, ensuring a streamlined and personalised healthcare experience.”
