'Silk Black’ WC and showering packs launched

Armitage Shanks has enhanced its Doc M range with a collection of Silk Black WC and showering packs, providing designers and specifiers with ‘a comprehensive solution that meets current accessibility regulations without compromising on style’.

The company said: “Black has long held its place as a timeless staple in interior design – understated yet impactful, it conveys both sophistication and modernity. The new Silk Black Doc M WC and shower packs capture this aesthetic appeal while delivering full regulatory compliance. Designed to elevate accessible washrooms, the collection proves that functionality doesn’t have to come at the expense of style. With Silk Black, inclusive design becomes an integral part of the overall space.

Armitage Shanks continued: “The Silk Black Doc M packs are designed to help projects comply fully with Building Regulations Approved Document M and the Equality Act, and offer all essential support rails and fixtures in a smart, modern silk black finish that delivers both impact and refinement. This sleek, design-forward alternative to traditional finishes speaks directly to the growing demand for cohesive, modern interiors – even in functional or regulatory-led spaces. The surface finish is not only visually striking, but also hard-wearing. These finishes also exceed the Light Reflectance Value (LRV) standards outlined in Approved Document M and British Standard BS8300-2:2018.”

Ten packs are available, covering left- and right-handed close-coupled, back-to-wall, and wall-hung WC options, as well as a dedicated showering pack. These packs are part of Armitage Shanks’ Contour 21+ and Concept Freedom ranges. Each pack includes a complete set of components – streamlining both specification and installation, ‘while maintaining a cohesive aesthetic throughout the washroom’.
