Our Products
At Clarke’s Safety Mirrors, we can supply a range of different mirrors to meet your specific requirements. Our core products include:
Acrylic Safety Mirrors
Acrylic is a strong, impact resistant material. The material is approximately 10 times stronger than glass. Typical environments include schools, colleges, care homes, nurseries, pubs & clubs, etc. These mirrors are used for applications where glass mirrors would be impractical or a safety hazard.
Polycarbonate Safety Mirrors
Typical environments include schools, colleges, care homes, nurseries, pubs & clubs, etc. These mirrors are used for applications where glass mirrors would be impractical or a safety hazard. Polycarbonate is used where high impact and fire resistance properties are essential. These mirrors should be used if there is any possibility of self-harm or harm to others. Polycarbonate is a relatively soft material and therefore cannot be honed into a sharp edge.
Stainless Steel Safety Mirrors
These anti-vandal mirrors are manufactured from high-grade 304 (18/8) stainless steel that will not rust or discolour. Stainless steel is virtually unbreakable and hygienic. The mirrors are polished to an ultra bright finish to maximise reflection clarity.
Ligature Resistant Mirrors
We supply a range of ligature resistant polycarbonate safety mirrors. Typical applications include prisons, mental health, care homes, courts, CAMHS and police stations. We offer a made to measure service for the framed ligature resistant and flat ligature resistant safety mirrors.
Convex, Observation & Traffic Mirrors
We supply a selection of interior and exterior convex mirrors for a wide range of different applications. Convex mirrors offer improved safety and help to eliminate blind spots. Our products are manufactured from high quality materials.
Impact Resistant Glass Mirrors
Our Impact Resistant Glass Mirrors provide protection against human body collision. This product features a 4mm thick safety backed mirror, fully bonded to an impact absorbing foam backing and an aluminium frame. The product conforms to BS6206 and provides improved safety compared to conventional glass mirrors.
Safety Backed Glass Mirrors
All our glass mirrors are supplied Safety Backed to BS6206 with flat polished edges. Our glass mirrors are available in 4mm and 6mm thickness. Mirrors can be manufactured up to a size of 3000 x 2000mm. Bespoke shapes and sizes are available.
