Patented floor cleaning system’s lightning-fast speed

i-team global has launched a patented floor cleaning technology that it says ‘removes the repetition from commercial floor cleaning in record time, with much greener performance and excellent results’.

The ‘i-walk’ is described as ‘a groundbreaking co-bot that redefines cleaning, delivering unmatched efficiency and precision cleaning’. The company said: “i-walk transforms the i-mop XL into a co-botic, and cleans up to 300 m² with only one minute of set-up time. It is a hi-tech enhancement of the hugely successful i-mop XL, with an automated driving system that takes over the hard work. It can clean an impressive 700 m² in just one hour, saving operatives a ton of cleaning and setup time.”

i-walk is also claimed to be able to ‘work tirelessly for up to four hours’, thanks to its extended battery life, while it also uses ‘an advanced recovery system that slashes water usage by 70%, and reduces chemical use, making it a greener and more environmentally responsible floor cleaning choice’.

i-team global said: “The i-walk's advanced suction system ensures surfaces dry very quickly, reducing the risk of slips and falls after cleaning. However, safety doesn’t stop there, as it directly benefits its operators too. Cleaning operatives will love the i-walk, because it frees them from repetitive, time-consuming tasks, which can be strenuous to complete. Instead, they can focus on higher-value work, making their jobs more enjoyable and less physically demanding.”

Frank van de Ven, founder and CEO of i-team Global, said, “The focus of i-team is dedicated to elevating the role of cleaners, transforming them into respected hospitality professionals, while also reducing the use of water, energy, and cleaning detergents. Our goal is to shift perceptions about cleaning and those who undertake it. Tools like the i-mop and i-walk are central to this mission.”

The i-mop XL is a patented flexible floor scrubber dryer that i-team Global says ‘revolutionised cleaning’ in 2014. ‘Intelligent mopping converted manual mopping to mechanical mopping that cuts the labour time with 60%, water usage by 75%, and the energy use with 50%’.
